As a Designer, I believe design is everywhere and it comes in many different types of forms. It takes creativity but, also a great understanding of the world around us. It is a way of communicating a message in different ways. The world is ever changing and so will design. There are many different meanings to think of what design is, but one I narrowed down to is emotion.
It is brainstorming to achieve a goal towards a message and to create an emotion. Behind the emotion, is a call to action. It is how you want your viewer to react towards your design and what you want them to do afterwards. You need to brainstorm and think of creative ways that are simple and understandable towards the type of person (their habits and lifestyle) you are directing your design to. You have to understand who you are designing for and what their problem is and to be able to come up with the most effective way to achieve the solution.
